Anxiety Treatment in Santa Fe
Anxiety care for Santa Fe patients at our Albuquerque office

Serving Santa Fe patients at our Albuquerque office.
Anxiety can make an ordinary errand feel like a mountain, and over time it can wear down sleep, work, and relationships. Vigor Health Services welcomes patients from Santa Fe at our Albuquerque office, about an hour south on I-25. Stephanie Nnamchi, NP, holds a post-master’s certificate as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and sees patients ages 6 and up. Together, you can look at what is driving your worry and build a plan that fits your life up north.
Understanding anxiety and how we treat it
Anxiety disorders show up in many ways. Some people feel a steady hum of worry that never fully shuts off. Others have sudden panic attacks with a pounding heart, short breath, or a sense that something is badly wrong. Tight muscles, restless nights, and a growing habit of avoiding people or places are also common. When these patterns last for weeks and start shaping your choices, an evaluation can help sort out what is going on.
At Vigor, care is built around the person in the room. A plan may include therapy strategies, medication management, lifestyle support, or referrals when appropriate. Any medication decision comes only after the provider has finished a full evaluation. You can learn more about our anxiety treatment on our main service page.
Making the trip from Santa Fe work
Your first appointment is a 60-minute new patient visit. You will talk through your history, current symptoms, and goals, plus some questions about lifestyle and relationships. Standardized questionnaires may be part of it. Follow-up visits run 30 minutes. Since the drive is roughly an hour each way, many Santa Fe patients pick a time that misses the heaviest I-25 traffic and fold other Albuquerque errands into the same day.
The office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday by appointment only. We do not take walk-ins, but same-day visits are offered when available. Call 505-508-1060 to ask about scheduling and visit options. Bring completed forms, a photo ID, your insurance card, and your co-pay. Our new patient page explains the paperwork.
