Anxiety Treatment in Rio Rancho
Anxiety care for Rio Rancho patients at our Albuquerque office

Serving Rio Rancho patients at our Albuquerque office.
Worry that will not switch off, a racing heart before work, or panic that seems to come from nowhere can wear you down. Vigor Health Services welcomes patients from Rio Rancho at our Albuquerque office, about 20 miles from home. Stephanie Nnamchi, NP, who holds a post-master’s certificate as a family psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, evaluates anxiety and builds a plan around your symptoms and goals. We see children, teens, adults, and seniors, starting at age 6.
What anxiety can look like
Anxiety is more than ordinary stress. It may show up as constant worry, trouble sleeping, muscle tension, irritability, a pounding heart, or a habit of avoiding places and people. Some people have sudden panic attacks. Others feel a steady hum of dread most days. Anxiety disorders are common and treatable, and the right plan can reduce symptoms for many people.
How we treat anxiety
Care starts with a full mental health evaluation. Your provider asks about your history, your current symptoms, your relationships, and your daily routine, and may use standardized questionnaires. From there you get a personalized plan. That plan may include therapy strategies, lifestyle support, referrals when appropriate, and medication management. Any decision about medication is made only after the evaluation, never before.
Coming in from Rio Rancho
Our office sits in northeast Albuquerque. For most Rio Rancho patients the drive takes roughly 25 to 35 minutes, depending on traffic. That short trip makes it practical to keep regular follow-up visits, which matter when a plan is being adjusted. New patient visits last about 60 minutes. Follow-ups are about 30 minutes. All visits are by appointment, and same-day visits are offered when available. Call 505-508-1060 to ask about scheduling and visit options.
Please bring your completed forms, a photo ID, your insurance card, and your co-pay. Our new patient page explains what to expect.
